Equine Education for Disadvantaged Youth

Dreams invites youth to either visit our beautiful farm in Blacklick (Dreams Ranch Day) or we will bring horses to you (Dreams on the Road) for an unforgettable educational opportunity for your students.  Dreams charges non-profit organizations one-half of the cost of the program and fundraises the other half.

Educational Opportunities for Organizations Serving At-Risk Youth

An outdoor horse experience that  children will never forget! Each program is tailored to your timeframe and resources.  Your Ranch Day can include horse education, “hands on” learning to groom horses, tours of our barns, a bonfire, picnic lunch, crafts, and of course, handler-led rides through our wooded trails.   Cost varies depending on program components.  Range $110-250.

Dreams Ranch Day

Dreams on the Road brings horses to your facility with trained staff to teach your children about horses and provide safe, controlled rides.  

Recommended ages: 4-10

Dreams on the Road

Program Highlights:

¨ Hands-on learning about horses;

¨ Overview of the history of horses;

¨ Fun games to identify horse anatomy;                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

¨ Demonstration of grooming and care of horses;

¨ Explanation of bridle, saddle, and halter;                  

¨ Short ride for all children led by a horse handler.
