Programs Targeting Clients with

Developmental Disabilities

An 8-week program designed to improve verbal skills, emotion management, social interaction, problem solving skills and develop self-confidenceWith each clients’ Service Plan objectives in mind, EAL staff coaches students to progress their service plan goals throughout the completion of the ground exercises.                                                         Private pay $40 per session, MRDD funds accepted.

Strides for Pride

An 8-week program focused on the sensory enjoyment of horses.  Each session includes grooming, leading and learning how to care for a horse.  Horse activities provide sensory input and executive functioning skill acquisition (such as sequential task planning, following multiple step directions, etc.)  Attendees must be accompanied by an adult.                                                      Private pay $25 per session, MRDD funds accepted.

Dare to Dream

Dreams on Horseback is a Service Provider for the Franklin, Delaware and Licking County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.  Waiver One and I/O funds may be used for our programs.
