Equine Education for Disadvantaged Youth

The Dreams’ Mission

Dreams on Horseback provides experiential learning with horses for disadvantaged and disabled youth through educational programs and equine assisted learning sessions.  During “hands on” activities, youth practice decision making, problem solving, and collaborative work skills and experience the reality of choices, attitudes, and consequences of behavior in a challenging, accepting and supportive environment.  Dreams uses horses as a medium to foster a strong work ethic, sense of achievement and responsibility, respect for others, assertiveness, anger management, and build self-esteem which result in personal success.
